Yes! Because growing plants for food requires much less energy and hazardous methane and nitrous oxide emissions than farming animals. Overall our plant-based kibbles create 43% fewer carbon dioxide equivalent emissions (CO2e) than our meat-based recipes. Our climate action comrades Climate Partner, studied the stats properly so you can be sure the numbers are accurate!

Dogs have a surprisingly high environmental impact because of the food they eat. So it makes sense that cutting down the amount of meat in your dog’s diet will dramatically reduce their carbon pawprint.
