Feeding guidelines for kibble and paté

The following daily feeding guide will allow you to calculate your kitten's daily portion of Edgard & Cooper kibble, paté (in tins or cups), or both if you feed your kitten a mixture of kibble and paté.

The daily portion depends on your kitten's current weight or its target weight at its current age (not its expected adult weight). The portion size should be adjusted accordingly if your kitten is underweight or overweight.

📗 You can also use our feeding calculator to calculate the exact daily portion for your furry friend, just click here.

The age ranges indicated in these charts correspond to the following weight ranges:

  • 2-4 months: 1-1.5 kg

  • 4-9 months: 2-3 kg

  • 9-12 months: 4-4.5 kg

☝️ Is your kitten neutered? We suggest following these same guidelines unless your veterinarian advises otherwise.

Feeding guidelines for kibble and fillets

Our fillets for cats are a complementary food and should always be fed alongisde other complete and balanced foods.

Given that fillets are complementary, they shouldn't comprise more than 10% of your cat's daily calorie intake. Therefore we advice feeding them a maximum of 1 tin per day.
