Most dogs transition smoothly, but some may notice a slightly different smell, taste, or kibble shape. These changes are normal and totally safe. Our data shows that a 4-day gradual transition - whether switching from an older E&C recipe or a non-E&C recipe to the new E&C formulation - is sufficient.
This approach helps ensure a smooth adjustment for your pet while supporting their digestion during the change. Every dog is different, so if your pet has a sensitive stomach, extending the transition period might be helpful.
Here's our simple transition method: over a period of three or four days, slowly increase the amount of the new Edgard & Cooper recipe in your dog's bowl while reducing the portion of their current food. It's as easy as that!
